After nearly a five-year break, The Neighbourhood has returned, and they’re more popular than ever. This alternative rock band, which includes vocalist Jesse Rutherford, bassist Mikey Margott, drummer Brandon Fried, and guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, sold out The Armory in Minneapolis on April 2. This was the third stop on their eagerly awaited ‘Wourld Tour.’ Devoted fans braved the freezing rain outside the venue all day, hoping to get as close to the stage as possible for the band’s long-anticipated return to Minnesota. The 90-minute set, featuring 23 songs, showcased tracks from throughout the band’s career, including the breakout hit “Sweater Weather,” which catapulted them to global fame in 2012, as well as fan favorites like “Daddy Issues,” “Cry Baby,” “Void,” “Baby Came Home 2,” and “The Beach.” They also performed songs from their latest album, (((((ultraSOUND))))), released on November 14, 2025, including “Hula Girl,” “OMG,” “Planet,” “Good Grief,” and “Lovebomb.” A deluxe version, (((((ultraSOUND)))))+, featuring five additional tracks, was released on February 20, 2026. The show was incredible and seemed to pass in an instant. I can say with confidence that no one in the audience would have been dissatisfied if they had played for another thirty minutes, or even longer.
The Neighbourhood will tour North America until April 14, Europe, the U.K., New Zealand, Australia, Asia, and Mexico until September 26, and finish the second North American leg on December 4, 2026. You can find more information and purchase tickets here.
