Rainbow Kitten Surprise graced the Vibrant Music Hall in Des Moines with their ‘bones’ tour on July 8. This alternative rock ensemble features Ela Melo on vocals, Darrick Keller on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Ethan Goodpaster on lead guitar, and Jess Haney on drums. Their performance showcased tracks from their most recent album, bones, which was released last September, including hits like “100 Summers,” “Tropics,” and “Dang,” alongside beloved tracks such as “Cocaine Jesus,” “Painkillers,” and “Devil Like Me.” The band will continue their North American tour until September 23, 2026.
