The Crane Wives Sell Out Wooly’s in Des Moines

On August 13, The Crane Wives packed Wooly’s in Des Moines during the third and final act of their North American tour. This indie rock group features Emilee Petersmark, Kate Pillsbury, Dan Rickabus, and Ben Zito. Their performance showcased tracks like “Bitter Medicine,” “Mad Dog,” “Arcturus Beaming,” and “Black Hole Fantasy” from their 2024 album, Beyond Beyond Beyond, along with beloved hits such as “Tongues & Teeth” from their 2012 release, The Fool in Her Wedding Gown, “The Moon Will Sing” from their 2015 album, Coyote Stories, and “Curses” from their 2016 work, Foxlore, among others.
