Dermot Kennedy Kicks Off North American Tour at The Armory

Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy debuted the North American leg of his The Weight of the Woods tour at The Armory in Minneapolis on September 4. The 19-song setlist included nearly all of the songs from his new album, The Weight of the Woods, released April 3, including “Honest,” “Funeral,” “Blue Eyes,” “Happiness,” and the title track, as well as “Outnumbered” and “Power Over Me” from his 2019 album, Without Fear and “Better Days” from his 2023 album, Sonder. Throughout the night fans enthusiastically sang along to his songs, adding to the energy of the show. Kennedy will be on tour in North America until October 29 and Australia and New Zealand throughout November 2026. You can find more information and purchase tickets here.
